- Only the registering entity needs organisation validation. Legal persons currently need an eIDAS qualified electronic seal (QSeal) from a QTSP on the EU Trusted List; Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1778 Art 4 lists alternative routes — check the current User Guide.
- Buyers: if your EU entity is the first placer, tell suppliers explicitly — they should not buy seals.
- Suppliers: do not purchase a seal until the duty split is confirmed in writing.
